The urban landscape in the cross-border area is not the result of coordinated management actions but of independent urban development policies.This project contributes to improve the urban quality and living environment of the residents of the involved neighbourhoods. The cross-border square between Menen and Halluin creates a good living environment and constitutes a place for interaction. The cross-border municipalities share a place and common events, but are also jointly responsible for the maintenance, security, etc.
