Labour offices and training institutions in action

The main objective of the partnership is through the international cooperation to find out ways of decreasing the disproportion between demand and supply in the labour market (LM) - to increase the assertion of job-seekers in the labour market by using innovative training and counselling methods and on the other side to meet the requirements of employers with special regard to the field of professions in demand. The project is focus on the exchange of information about the relevant regional labour markets (characteristics of partners regional LM, specifications of the region, information important for entering the labour market, professions in demand and other attributes of LM) and the exchange of experiences with methods and best practice in the work with job-seekers, persons interested in employment, pupils of basic schools, students of secondary schools, respectively graduates within the multinational cooperation of partner institutions. The above mentioned information will be the base of complete information package constructed for the work with target groups – for labour offices (guidance counsellors, counsellors for selecting an occupation), training institutions and schools as well as for job-seekers. By active participation at partnership meetings, due to free access to the information package (on the website), respectively by using CD-ROMs and publication (leaflets, brochures) the guidance counsellors will be able to provide qualitative services for job-seekers and persons interested in employment, career advisers at schools for pupils and students when selecting an occupation or further education, as well as training institutions when constructing an adequate vocational training activities meeting the demand of labour market.
