La notion de qualité dans l'entreprise européenne
Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

This 2014/2016 project whose theme was “ the quality concept in the European company”, involved students attending vocational training ( baccalauréat professionnel) level IV in two sectors: - Performing Arts sector: two years training in costume dressing. (DTMS) - Industry and manufacturing: three years training in electronic and digital systems (SEN) 11 participants took part in this project. Belgium, Luxemburg, Austria were the host countries where the students mainly worked in theatres, making it possible for them to combine and professional and cultural goals. Those internships for Vocational Baccalaureate DTMS’ students were based upon the making and maintenance of historical and contemporary stage costumes, embellishment work and milliner’s techniques. SEN students worked in technical services, more particularly in the lighting department by implementing their skills in stage lighting. All the participants had the opportunity to observe different work methods used in a new cultural environment, inquire on specific constraints and special techniques, develop and strengthen their professional and personal skills in order to obtain a better ability in building and following a career path, especially abroad. They all have understood the notion of quality approach and applied themselves to observe, consider and put it into practice in the tasks and missions realized through their internship. Back from the internship, all the participants agreed having acquired new skills in their own professional fields and they have especially developed new personal abilities like independence, responsibility, organization and self-confidence. They developed and drew professional, personal, cultural and social benefits thanks to numerous social exchanges and activities, as well as a new way of looking neighbour countries. Students who did an internship in a non-French speaking country appreciated the fact of improving their language skills. All in all, we noticed these experiences have led to personal and professional development of our students and improved their self-image. The recognition of learning outcomes has been carried out thanks to an evaluation grid completed by the tutor, an internship report and the document “Europass mobilité”.
