La mobilité Erasmus+ -"Défi et chance pour les acteurs en formation professionnelle dans le domaine des professions de santé -"
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

he apprentices are going to conduct an internship in a hospital or care institution abroad. They will be in possession of a booklet or portfolio which will clearly explain the level and type of training as well as the specific objectives of the course. The booklet will also include an evaluation form of the professional skills, which the apprentice has to work with during the probationary period. The project is expected to increase the quality of the professional formation: • By confronting the apprentices to a professional and socio-cultural context; • By developing the apprentices’ capacity of reflexivity and openness towards different methods of work; • By increasing the apprentices’ language skills in German and French, especially the use of the correct professional and medical terms. The project partners will be hospitals or care institutions in the nearby German or French-speaking countries which have the ability to form nursing auxiliaries. The duration of the stay will be three weeks, enough time to allow the apprentice to become familiar with this new professional world and to adapt to a different socio-cultural context. The quite long duration of the internship will allow the project partners to organize an individual monitoring of the apprentices as well as to assess more precisely the apprentices’ skills. The experiences acquired during this internship will count as a major part of the apprentices’ formation. The skills that the teachers have to acquire are extremely important for the apprentices’ training. • To be able to teach care techniques by using simulation models of medium and high technology to re-enact realistic professional scenes and from there on develop the practical skills in a practical teaching lab. • To initiate and develop a teaching concept by means of external performers and thereby re-enact realistic situations with the intent of teaching on a technical, relational and communicational level. • To develop a group teaching method by benefiting from laboratory courses in registered labs that are being transmitted in real time to a second room to the audience • Adapt course programs and modules and evaluations.
