La Martinique ... La mer.... Espace d'Insertion
Start date: Aug 1, 2015, End date: Apr 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

INSERT MOVING wants to establish a chain of solidarity between the world of the sea, business, culture, associations and all those who support our actions. The aim is to launch an attractive action for young people in social and professional difficulties. This is "to go further than just educational monitoring",that is, from the educational virtues of the maritime environment to achieve personal wellness and professional integration of these people. The person is here to discover a professional guidance and our operating flexibility allows us to consider various options for their career. From the desire of the beneficiaries in great difficulty , namely repeated failure, the team will work on trust and make them aware of many trades to begin the construction of a career. Here, the person has the choice to come. Navigation is the centerpiece of the educational support. It is an extraordinary support which brings the escape from each person. The participant must pass through obligations to personally move forward and move the boat. The educational impact of learning navigation is measured because a boat is a very closed framework, regarding rules, in which the persone must do. There is a necessary individual awareness at the community level that everyone is a link ... and may be a weak link. They need to have team spirit, and regain self confidence. Reach the destination and take the challenge are a positive experience that marks the individuals. A mindset is needed to face the hazards of navigation: everyone must adapt and find new rules. The diversity and the alternation of activities are meant to keep the motivation of people. Apart from navigation, the beneficiaries through land stops may discover other cultural and business activities. There willl be 18 participants (9 Belgian and 9 from France ) aged from 18 to 25 years in social difficulties. INSERT MOVING wish to create interest among young people for careers in the sea but also allow them to rediscover themself through these activities and move towards a job that suits them deeply. Repeat this action over time would allow many young people to live a socializing experience that may generate vocation.
