LA GESTIÓN DE LAS COMPETENCIAS PSICOPEDAGÓGICAS DE LOS FORMADORES DEL SECTOR DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN

It is certain that trainers in the construction sector in Europe have a common characteristic different of the rest of the activity sectors: a lot of them come from building sites. That is a big advantage for their qualification, as before they begin their training activity, they have been working in the building site, so they have wide knowledge and technical skills. But, in spite of that important characteristic, several researches have showed the training needs of those trainers of the construction sector in “non-technical” competences, also known as psycho-pedagogical competences. A lot of these trainers have not been trained in those competences, so they have not had the chance to improve in that subject. Therefore, the main aim of the PSICO.COM project (Management of psycho-pedagogical competences of the trainers of construction sector) is to develop a computer programme based in a deep analysis of the psycho-pedagogical competences of those professionals. This programme is going to allow us the evaluation, the management and the improvement of the “non-technical” competences, through specific formation for that aim.The partnership that will implement the proposal are seven (three from Spain, one from Italy, one from Portugal, one from France and one from Cyprus) All the partners are very important in training in general *La Facultad de Pedagogía de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB, Spain) *La Agencia Vasca para La Evaluación de la Competencia y la Calidad de la Formación Profesional (Spain)*The University of Cyprus (Cyprus)and in training in construction sector in special:*Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (FLC, Spain)*Centro de Formação Profissional da Indústria da Construção Civil e Obras Públicas do Sul (CENFIC, Portugal)*Ente nazionale per l'addestramento professionale nell'edilizia (FORMEDIL, Italy)*The Licée Cantau (France)This partnership ensures the proposal quality, the transparency and the impact of the results, either in the formal training, in the sector field and in the national and European level. The main outcomes of the project will be the following:Tangible*Document with the psycho-pedagogical competences and the associated training for the trainers of the construction sector at the European level.*Self-learning units*A computer programme with the tools and utilities necessaries for the evaluation and management of the trainers competences.*Systematized guide for the evaluation of the competences*Proposal of a plan of accreditation of psycho-pedagogical competencesIntangible:*Improvement of the quality and innovation of the systems, institutions, teaching and vocational training practises. *Development of innovation in vocational training *Improvement of the transparency and the recognition of qualifications and competences. *Development of the skills and competences of the trainers in the construction sector.Considering these outcomes, the partnership and the aims of the project, two will be the main impacts of the proposal:*Improvement of the management of the psycho-pedagogical competences of the trainers of the construction sector in the countries involved in the project.*Increase of the accreditation transparency of the psycho-pedagogical competences of these trainers.
