la démarche éco-citoyenne de l'entreprise européenne
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

The aim of our school is to reinforce the education’s quality and professionalization of our students in order to make their employability easier and also, thanks to its development project, to promote their possible wish to work abroad. We thus mainly focus on the opening to the European Community. Our involvement in the ERASMUS+ program enables our students to develop their abilities to adapt to a different corporate culture and way of life of the host country and to improve their professional and language skills.Besides, most of students concerned with mobility are in their last year of high school (vocational baccalaureat) and have done work placement only in France, especially in the Franche-Comté region. However, these students, who often come from lower middle-class backgrounds, have thus the possibility to live an experience abroad thanks to such a mobility program. As a result, our project enables to promote and simplify equal opportunities and social inclusion. Being involved in this mobility also enables these students to regain their self-confidence that has often been lost because of their academic status in the professional area. Our project is intended for our students of vocational baccalaureate, level 4 in four sectors:- Performing arts : “DTMS” (Technician in Performing Arts Diploma) 2-year training- Industry and manufacturing : Vocational Baccalaureate “SEN” (electronic and digital systems) and “MEI” (industrial equipment maintenance) 3-year training- Tertiary sector: Vocational Baccalaureate in Management and Administration; 3-year training- Health and social services : “ASSP” (care and services to individuals)The two-year project will will involve 12 participants. To help self-confidence, they will be placed by pair in the same geographical area. The internships take place from mid-November to the end of January and last between 4 and 6 weeks according to sections. Students will go to Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg where we have established partnerships for several years now with national theatres. For the good training of our students, our school has established a mutual trust with these companies.Since its involvement in 2001 in the European program “mobility”, our school has developed an excellent experience in the European placements. The project management, led by the Headmaster, has been entrusted to a coordinator whose the position has been created. This coordinator works in close collaboration with both teaching staff and administrative departments. For this project 2016-2018, the theme we have chosen is “sustainable development in the European company”. This professional dimension is crucial nowadays since companies, regardless of their nationality, must commit to and support an eco-responsible approach while respecting its partners’ interests. Participants will have to think about the approached inherently developed by the host partner, including waste management and recycling and the highlighting of environmentally responsible options. The expected effects on the participants are numerous: the development of their open-mindedness, their abilities to adapt and to plan, the wish to carry on their studies and to consider working abroad. Such an experience unquestionably brings value to the professional abilities and qualities of a candidate. The opening to programs of European and international mobility is anchored in our school project for many years. As a result, our trainings and our school acquire a real promotion that furthers our recruitment potential and enables us to develop our partnerships with safety. The standing of our school is thus promoted locally and in our regional education authority. Our membership with the ERASMUS+ EFP program brings a better quality to our professional teaching, and ensure a dynamic within our teaching staff. Indeed, our teachers realize that the building of Europe means the education/training of its citizens, the acceptance of methodological and cultural differences and the cessation of prejudices in the working world as well as in the inter-cultural relations and values.
