Context The school is made up of 7 classes including a special needs class (CLIS). Mordelles is an average size suburb of Rennes in Brittany. Internationalization is one of the axes of our school project (2011-2015) Our school signed up for 2 consecutive Comenius projects with multiple partners. Objectives : Improve our linguistic skills Better communicate with our partners (emails, skype or during our meetings) Facilitate oral and written communication with our partners Continue to open up to Europe Discover new educational systems Discover new methods to learn English Increase the number of teachers teaching English in their class Reinforce/improve the language skills of teachers’ especially oral skills Improve/discover the cultural diversity of life in the UK Number and profile of the participants : 3 teachers: 2 qualified to teach English and a headmistress Description of activities General English class and English conversation in an international group Use of ICT School visits Pedagogy and teaching in English Presentation of the Education system in Great Britain Cultural visits (London + Great Britain) This training course fits right in with our European Comenius projects and our multiple partners. It shows the investment of the teachers for the European dimension of the project. We hope it will increase the professional and linguistic skills in our classrooms.
