Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

CONTEXT, BACKGROUND AND GOALS “Artemide” has over the last few years implemented its own training offer with a special program called “For my actions”. Periodically diverse workshops, seminars and labs are organized at very low cost prices and even some free of charge. “Artemide” is also, currently, applying for the accreditation system for Professional Training in the region of Puglia, Italy. Beyond the skills on the training field, “Artemide” wishes to be part within the European scenario of the learning and operational activities building its own network of international partners in other European countries. Within that scope, the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ are of great interest and fit perfectly the demands and needs of Artemide and AETA. With the present project it will be possible to acquire new competences and to pass on already established skills of the own organization (by providing training in a different and new context new forms and skills are also acquired). Other important goals are those, for both partners in the project, of: - To increase the awareness of European citizenship and the values and opportunities made available by the European Union - Enhancing language skills and communication skills in a foreign language - Increase the predisposition to intercultural dialogue and the decrease of prejudice. RESULTS AND IMPACT Within each of the two ICT courses, participants will acquire skills both on how to structure the information, and how to produce and manage the flow of information and communication for both internal and external use. For both courses, the main attitude that will increase is the connected to use of ICT in both the associative life, as in professional life. A different kind of learning is predicted to those participating as teachers of the Italian Language course and of Family Assistant. The resources implied will allow the development of skills and behavior within a European context. Other important outcomes are foreseeable for any of the participants in the project. In the first place, an increased awareness of European citizenship and of the values and the opportunities made available by the European Union. By operating within an environment where languages such as Romenian, Italian and English will be used, the linguistic and communication skills in foreign languages will also be improved and will represent a great benefit for participants of both organizations. As a result, the project will serve to enhance the predisposition for intercultural dialogue and a decrease of pre-established prejudices. The impact on Artemide and AETA will be sensed in various levels, not only will enrich the skills of each organization’s staff but also will raise the opportunities if international collaboration thanks to the experience provided by the project. Also at a local level, both partners will benefit from greater visibility, placing them at the eyes of interested institutions as references in the fields of European Projects, Social Intervention and Training Offer.
