The project intends to establish the grounds of a long-term cultural co-operation between the cultural institutes, non-governmental organizations and stratus of the two counties. The aspirant partners plan to build the cross-border cultural co-operation in three steps. Within the confines of this tender the first step would be the digestion and presentation of the two counties joint cultural values in the field of object maker arts. Also in the first step there is another task: to guarantee the dialogue, the access to the information, the absorption and the possibilities for learning from each other in connection with the object maker arts. In the next step of the project we are planning to do similar activity in the field of performing arts. In the third step we are intending to organize trainings in both counties aimed to maintain and deepen the evolved cultural co-operation. Achievements: The project intended to establish a long-term cultural cooperation between educational institutions of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén and Košice counties, and civil society organizations and municipalities. The partners tried to achieve this goal through joint development of new cultural events and different forms of cultural cross-border co-operations (28 events together). 15 photo exhibitions, 4 workshops and 3 artistic camps with the theme of folklore (handicrafts, Roma culture, nature, fine arts) took place during the project.
