Střední vinařská škola Valtice thanks to the Erasmus+ mobility program sent 12 students from field of study - wine makers - and 2 accompany teachers to Italy for three weeks. All students traveled in early spring time 2016. Our partner was Terra e Acqua Societa agricola semplice / Cascina Santa Brera, a very nice farm with its own wineyard. In Cascina Santa Brera, next to Milan, their bio business is so popular, even the farm is the surroundings determinative agro tourism destination. During the professional practice our students learnt about different methods than the Czech viticulture technologies and they increased their language skills. The main working language of the project was English but the students learnt also the basics of Italian language. They got acquainted with Italy winery trends, EU standards, new grape varieties and with innovative procedures. Apart from language and professional knowledge, the students had an opportunity to know new culture, habits, traditions and to became more open and selfconfident.
