It is required to enable that the students in the field of beauty and hair care (Hairdressing, Skin Care and Beauty) could receive the required vocational trainings in the fields of Hairdressing, Skin Care and Beauty and could reinforce their trainings by “practical application” which is one of the ‘seeing on site’ and efficient learning methods; they could learn and apply the innovative methods utilized in Europe in the mentioned fields within the corporations where they work in our country; the qualified employee demand by the Beauty and Hair Care Service sectors could be met by the apprentice students after they graduate from the open vocational high schools and they complete their internships abroad; the employment rate of the female students who are included in the disadvantageous group in general terms could be increased; and the women could be empowered in social and economic terms by increasing their contributions to the country economy. Even though the private education institution programs, which are established pursuant to the Private Educational Institutions Law Numbered 5580, become widespread; it is detected that the Teachers and Master Students in the field of beauty and hair care, the master students who are granted with competence certificate after a short term training period by the Law Numbered 3308 and who work in return for a salary cannot develop their vocational formation competencies in accordance with EU standards due to the inadequacy of the faculties that grow teachers and accordingly, these people and newly graduated students who enter into labor force market reduce the related vocational standards. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the vocational standards related to minimum knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors required by the teachers and master students who grow labor force for the sector in order to fulfill the requirements of the profession in accordance with the EU norms. Within the frame of these needs, the purposes of the suggested projects can be summarized as the following; 1) To increase the competencies of the Students, newly graduated youngsters and adults who are education in the field of Hairdressing, Skin Care and Beauty through vocational trainings in Europe and to enable the sustainability of their employment, 2) To increase the standards and competencies of the trainers/teachers on EU level and to enable them to offer the education quality on the quantity and quality required by the sector, 3) To increase the quality and popularity of the apprenticeship and common-public education, 4) To determine the vocational training and human resources standards by collaborating international institutions and corporations, to make partnerships for developing these standards and to create a formation over which a continuous communication is enabled. The expected results of the project goals are the development of the schools’ and institutions’ capacities and sustainability of these capacities by increasing the competencies of the active participants in the sector. Consequently, the vocational education system could be developed and become widespread. With the vocational trainings provided for the youngsters and adults who are and are not included in the labor force market, qualified employees who could work in our country and European labor force market and have the required competencies will be trained. The project application process shall be 3 weeks for Teachers and Master Students; exchange programs shall be 13 March-03 April, 2016 for Sweden and Italy ; student exchange programs shall be 1 weeks, 16-23 May, 2016 for Poland, Hungary and Sweden.
