The project participants are going to broaden their knowledge beyond the core curriculum, acquire new skills and qualifications which will be certified by WBS TRAINING AG and the Europass - Mobility. We anticipate that participation in the project will result in leaving the school with better marks and gaining additional advanced vocational qualifications attested with international diplomas and certificates. A trip to the WBS TRAINING AG in Dresden is designed for 15 students and 1 accompanying teacher. The participants will be selected out of those who have already acquired skills in creating and managing Web pages written in HTML 4.0 and 5.0 and can take advantage of CSS. Part of the chosen people have completed or will be doing a basic course in creating websites in PHP and databases. Some of them will have CISCO CCNA Routing and Switching course completed and confirmed by the certificate. All the participants will be required to attend extra German and English vocational language activities that enables them efficient communication in every-day-life situations and trouble-free communication during training activities lead by the trainer as well as mastering the training material that will be presented in English. The period of stay is fixed on the last week of the school year 2016/17 and the first week of summer holidays. The participants will be able to take up training and focus on acquiring professional knowledge without fear that on returning home they will have to catch up with schoolwork . Also the accompanying teacher will not have to worry that because of their absence they will not have enough time to implement the core curriculumDuring the training the ZSTI teachers and WBS staff will keep monitoring and evaluating its process. At the end of the training its evaluation will be carried out. The cultural programme is to be prepared for the participants. The aims of the programme are: showing the participants the nearest surroundings, places and objects worth seeing, reminding them of the history of Dresden and Saxony and its ties with Poland, as well as to familiarize them with the current socio-political and cultural events. Preparations for the trip will be conducted via the Internet (Skype, email) and phone. During the training, constant monitoring will be held by the Polish as well as German party. Both partners will be in contact with each other, meet at the daily summing-up meetings, talk to students, so that the training is successful and entire programme can be accomplished in 100%. Classes will take place in the computer labs. Project method in small 3-5 people groups is recommended as a method of work. At the end of the training, the participants will be evaluated and will receive certificates. The students participating in the project will positively improve their language skills, broaden their knowledge of IT subjects , which will help them achieve better results in vocational examinations as well as increase their opportunities on the labour market. The ability to speak foreign languages fluently opens the door to the European labour market. It might also strengthen their feeling of self-esteem which will make them more self-confident, they may also be willing to take up new challenges, improve their professional skills and cooperate with others in order to achieve success. As for school - participating in the European project makes it more attractive for future students and attracts candidates that are more creative, interested in acquiring knowledge, eager to succeed. For current students this means that schooling is not boring. You can get new skills without financial contribution, which is important especially for the less affluent. A young man, actively taking part in the work of the project, can feel like "a citizen of Europe".
