The project meets the objectives related to the creation and promotion of flexible mechanisms and active forms of employment, in order to combat exclusion from the labour market and improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning at every level and stage of life. The project also correlates with the postulates of the Development Strategy of Lower Silesia for 2014-2020, which relate to increasing the quality and effectiveness of teaching and learning. Participants will be provided with education and training support, obtaining and using of knowledge and the gaining new skills and qualifications. All of them will contribute to facilitation of the personal development, employability and participation in a EU labour market. The participants of the project will be teachers who teach subjects related to economics and pupils who undergo vocational traineeships, in Zespol Szkol in Gora. While concerning the students, the project applies technicians of economy, logistics, construction workers and hoteliers. who will implement 4-week placements in Italian companies in accordance with their profile of education. There will be two phases of the project for 20 students in each of them. Institutions such as: the Starost District in Gora, Zespol Szkol in Gora, Marshall of Lover Silenzia Province, Family Care Centre, Trade Association, Social Care Centre (Polish participants) Sistema Turismo srl and Italian employers from region Emilia-Romagna (Italian participants) are involved in the implementation of the project. Our partner proposes cooperation and support in organization of the vocational traineeships , as well as in their conduct and the recognition of acquired skills with providing constant mentoring. Host institutions in which the beneficiaries are supposed to undergo their traineeships are hotels, construction companies, financial and logistics firms. The project provides young people with the opportunity to combine theory acquired in school with the practical ability to serve potential clients in accordance with the requirements of the European labour market and organizational changes that has been occurring in the services sector. At the same time, it also eliminates the obstacles connected with the active participation in the European labor market, which are language barriers, lack of transparency of acquired skills and social exclusion of young people from vulnerable areas. The project aims are also the introduction of the methodological innovation in the field of subjects related to economics teaching. The project will involve teachers of these subjects. We are planning a course for two six - person groups who will participate in courses of 15 hours each, conducted in English. The project involves Zespol Szkol in Gora, the Starost District in Gora and Marshall of Lover Silenzia Province (Polish participants) and Asociación Proyecto juvenil Barcelona and lecturers from University of Barcelona (Spanish participants). In our school there is a strong need for adaptation of teaching methods for specific professions to European standards of teaching, so that they are up to the expectations of employers in the EU labour market and in the long run they may increase labour mobilities of young people from areas of high social degradation . It is expected that the planned activities will support the professional development of staff , by deepening the knowledge of the different systems of education and training, transfer of good practice in vocational education and training and acquisition of new language skills in the vocational education and training field. Furthermore, uptake knowledge in relation to the changes which have taken place in educational systems in the EU will provide them with comprehensive development, enables full participation in culture, thus is widely understood humanization, cultural dialogues and will prepare them to the existence in the European learning society. It will be due to the fact, that they will be well equipped with a comprehensive knowledge concerning the latest innovations which have taken place in the methodology of vocational subjects teaching. It is expected that the long-term results of the project will mainly increase the attractiveness of vocational education and training as well as young workers mobility, not to mention the strengthening of the of international capability of the institution.
