Kreatywne nauczanie w szkole podstawowej.
Start date: Jun 1, 2014, End date: May 31, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Project titled:"Creative teaching in the primary school" is connected with Primary School no6 named after John Paul II in Reda pomorskie voivodship. This school is rather small where 150 pupils are taught what makes this place unique and free from the feeling of anonymity. We can notice two areas of deficits- one is an area of teaching pupils with specific needs who have difficulties in learning not only the English language but also the others and they show low motivation. The other area is connected with gifted students who need to be treated in special way to use their talents in full extent. There will be a new challenge the next year - Sprawdzian szóstoklasisty. The main goal of the project is the teaching quality improvement through the language teaching improvement, through making the new contacts with the teachers from other countries and learners to share the ideas , making new friends to get familiar with the young people from other countries and using the English language as a tool of communication. The participant of the mobility will be the teacher of English in our school - Bogumila Drewek. This is a person of great experience and deeply involved in the work with children. She improves her qualifications all the time. She is an active person in the school life - she is the leader of the school programme "Children read to children" which is based on the volunteer work of young people. She is an active member of the sport cultural society "Redzka Szóstka". The teacher will take part in the workshop titled Creative Teaching in the Primary Classroom, which will take place in Lake School of English in Oxford in The United Kingdom from 14th to 25th of July 2014. During the course she can get to know the creative ideas to make her classes more lively and interactive, she can find out more practical activities for motivating challenging classes, will take part in language improvement sessions and guided tour of Oxford and a guided tour of an Oxford University College, she will take part in a visit to a local school. She will have the opportunity to make friends with the teachers from other countries all the time. Taking part in the workshop will update her English, refresh teaching methodology , make using ICT more frequent, make new contacts with the teachers from other nations and share the ideas. All above will have the great impact on the whole school society and will help to gain the high results not only at the school tests but also competritions. This will also help to rise the selfesteem of our pupils and that will lead to good and satisfactory life that will motivate students to reach higher and higher goals. Making the new contacts will help young people to broaden their minds, to see that the tool of the communication is English language and thatit is in their reach.
