Kreativno in ustvarjalno mišljenje
Start date: Sep 15, 2014, End date: Sep 14, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The focus of the project is to develop creative thinking. Participants will gain new skills and motivation for their professional development and cooperation in the development of the organization. They will learn about a successful foreign educational system. The background of this project is also the need for developing a school for the future, to open up our local school in an effective manner to the European society and international context. We need to improve our skills as teachers in enabling thepupils to excel as citizens of Europe in the 21st century. The development of the following competencies is expected for the participants of the training course and foreign meetings as well as students: creativity, lateral thinking, an ability to organize their own thinking and work , an ability to change their own patterns of thinking and concepts as well as inputs of innovation in teaching practice. In addition, an important aspect of cooperation is international networking and exchange of experience. Three staff members will participate in the training course about creative thinking because they are particularly interested in the area of creative thinking and already use it in their pedagogical work. They will share new knowledge with the rest of the teaching staff at the school and within the working groups of the community and link it nationally and internationally. Project meetings at the partner school will be attended by staff members who will share their experiences in the field of organization and management of schools and teaching practice in relation to the objectives and activities of the project. During the visit of the Finnish school, they will be given the opportunity to get an insight into good school practices. New knowledge and experience will be a significant boost to the overall development of the school. It will empower students and teachers and other participants in the project with new knowledge in the field of creative thinking. We will expand our professional connections with other European partners, among them, we will certainly maintain a close partnership with our partners, the Finnish school. The project will create different support materials. We will make sure that the project is recognized in the local community and media and thus other interested parties will be invited to join us and cooperate with us in the context of disseminating the project.
