SOS a SOU, Hradec Kralove, Vocelova 1338, is an educational institution, which provides education in automobile mending, transport and construction. The education is realized in three years vocational studies and four years studies finished with a leaving exam. We also provide one year extension studies. English is very important part of education for our students, especially for students of automotive studies. Therefore, we would like to create a project, which will be, as a result, motivating for our students to get better in English. Our intention is to educate our teachers in a field of new English methodology. Using this methodology in the classes, students will be better motivated, as it will be something new for them.We have chosen 4 English teachers, who are supposed to participate in two courses (each of them). There is a methodology course for two teachers - one teacher will participate in the course as an English specialist for vocational studies and one as an English specialist for studies with a leaving exam. Afterwards, other 2 teachers will be participating in another methodology course in the same way.Next part of the project is focused on job shadowing. There are 4 courses - 1 course for one teacher. The courses are in Finland, Iceland, Ireland and Spain. It´s a job shadowing organized as a course - a teacher will see the education process in many schools, which are the same type as our own school. In the same time, a teacher will be able to discuss all his obtained experiences with his/her colleagues from abroad, who will be participating in the same course. Our partner organization creates a course with a platform for all the colleagues - English teachers - from all over the Europe. The aim of the project is to apply new methodology for teaching English language and to create materials useful for variegating the teaching process. Later on, we want to share these materials with interested teachers from other schools.
