Korea + EU Degree Opportunities for Students
Start date: Oct 1, 2012,

Responding to the need for an interculturally intelligent international workforce, the KEUDOS project will implement the first undergraduate double degree programme between the EU and the Republic of Korea in the fields of IT/electrical engineering and business. Based on a special combination of highly reputable university partners with a successful track record of working together, 20 double degree combinations will be offered through which students will receive accredited Korean and EU degrees after completing a 2-semester mobility period and fulfilling the overall degree requirements (25% model). International internship opportunities, requiring an evidence portfolio, and an intra-European dimension will also be included to ensure intercultural development and awareness. Over 4 years, the funded mobility will cover a total of 62 students (20 from EU and 42 from Korea) and 33 staff (20 from EU and 13 from Korea), however, given the strategic significance of this project, additional institutional funding has been committed for an extra 60 EU students. As a result, this project will certainly differentiate the student participants, promote the visibility of the partner higher education systems, and strengthen long-term cooperation on both academic and industrial levels.
