Katrinebergs folkhögskola (folk high-school) is active in the field of popular education and adult learning. The school comprises about 200 students and 60 employees, teachers and other staff. The school identifies in its internationalization plan currently a number of different areas of development, some of these are expressed in the objectives below. The countries (UK , Italy, the Netherlands) listed in the application were considered suitable for our project in several respects. In the current project, the objectives focused on the three headings: - fewer school dropouts / increased learning motivation / engagement - entrepreneurship/increased employability - high quality of pedagogy and content in the schools different educations and its subjects . The tools for this, and in some parts the objectives of the project itself, has been the professional development of staff through European exchanges in the form of courses and job shadowing. The future impact and planned use of the results of project activities was, among other things about: Basis for strategies and organization of education and training forms to develop business and improve students' conditions related to the above. Direct application in the school activity by trying, apply and share new ideas, knowledge and practices in teaching and planning. Build networks and a basis for future cooperation and exchange and creating experiences and knowledge for the continued development of international contacts and exchanges. The project's participants consist exclusively of teaching staff at the school. All participants have some form of academic education, teacher training or other relevant training. In most cases, participants have a relatively long experience in adult education. Eight different participants have completed ten mobilities. The recipient organizations have been of different kinds. In terms of job shadowing activities, they have either been high schools, or organizations involved in adult education / lifelong learning / social sustainability. In terms of course attendance, they have been educational organizations, with a focus on lifelong learning and social sustainability. The implemented mobilities thus contained either job shadowing or participating in courses. Relevant organizations were selected, and after contacts where our project objectives were clarified, some kind of program was designed for the stay. After the mobility, the participants have shared their reflections, knowledge, ideas and impressions through internal reports, verbal reviews at staff meetings, etc. Participants expresses a variety of impressions, knowledge, attitudes and insights that both relate well to the project's aims and objectives, and goes beyond them. Effects that participants highlights are e.g. Lessons learned from good examples in other countries. Developing practical skills relevant to the work and professional development. Developing and strengthening their professional network, and creating new contacts. Developing foreign language skills and increasing social, linguistic and cultural skills. That increased their satisfaction with the work. Renewed approach to learning and education. Further, the participants in general emphasizes for example that it will contribute to increased motivation of their students and that they will make use of new learning methods and approaches in their work. More specifically, the results and impacts of the project can be split up and be accounted for in two categories. a) results based on the project's aims and objectives, in terms of learning, new ideas, methods and impressions, new ideas about working methods, implementations, etc. b) results in terms of learning and experiences on implementing a further training project under Erasmus +. In summary, the current project has given us a major impact in terms of professional development and inspiration at the individual level, and the potential to have an impact even on the collective level by applying and disseminating new ideas and approaches, etc. It has also given us experiences on how to improve and refine a project like this. Moreover, it has given us different ideas that may lead to further skills enhancement and business development projects in the Erasmus + or equivalent. This may be a matter of more specific targeting to reach and meet the students of alienation or with different types of obstacles, which are a growing group at our school, and on projects where we arrange job shadowing / seminars / courses in some areas. All with a relevant connection to the project as well as other stakeholders' aims and objectives.
