The project will be implemented by the Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego [ARR] in cooperation with Zespół Szkół Zawodowych No.1 [ZSZ No. 1] and Association Mobility Friends [AIAM].The project will be implemented within 12 months.The scope of the project is the organization of internships for students in Portugal in co-operation with the foreign partner AIAM (Portugal).The direct objective of the project will increase the quality of the offer of ZSZ No. 1 in terms of raising general, key and professional competence of students in the usefulness of these competences on national and European labor market.With the achievement of the objective of the project ZSZ No. 1 will obtain the European dimension of education by:- Giving the European dimension of the educational offer of ZSZ No. 1,- Taking into account the European dimension of the curriculum,- Development of practical skills of students, taking into account the multicultural environment,- Increasing the language skills of students.The project participants will be 33 students from ZSZ Technical School No. 1 in the field of electrical technician. Students have theoretical knowledge about the profession. The project involves students from disadvantaged backgrounds and fewer opportunities due to the existence of economic (low standard of living) and geographical (region away from the provincial centers) obstacles. The project will ensure equal access of students to the project through clear and objective criteria for recruitment.The project was divided into stages:I - PREPARING PARTICIPANTS FOR MOBILITYAs part of this stage recruitment of 33 participants in the school year 2016/2017 will be carried out. Students will participate in preparatory classes:- Cultural preparation,- Integration and cooperation,Language preparation will be in the form of on-line course.Organizational and formal legal preparation of mobility will be preceded by meetings with potential partners and entrepreneurs organizing the internships as part of preparatory visits. Based on the results of visits, ARR will sign cooperation agreements with partners and contracts for the organization of internships with enterprises.The organization of the stay will be provided through the service involving transportation, food, accommodation, insurance, care-taker, etc. in accordance with accepted standards.II - IMPLEMENTATION OF MOBILITYStudents will leave for mobility to Portugal in 2017. The internships will be held according to internship programs. Internships will last two weeks, and practical training will take place for 8 hrs. / Day, 5 days a week. Tutoring and mobility coordinator AIAM provides support for pupils to stay on site, and their environmental and cultural adaptation.III – FOLLOW-UPIn the framework of the stage participants will receive certificates of participation and Europass certificates. During the project, current information on the progress of its implementation, the results achieved will be transferred through the website.Dissemination and use of project results will take place through:- Regional conference conducted in cooperation with the Provincial Labour Office in Warsaw,- Web page,- Materials in electronic and printed version,- Information on the radio and press releases.The project will include the methodology based on Project Management Cycle. The basis of preparation of the proposal was to analyze the initial situation in terms of quality of the offer of ZSZ No. 1 and European challenges for vocational training.Expected results concerning the 33 participants are:- Increasing language and intercultural skills,- Participation in foreign mobilities,- Gaining work experience in the foreign labor market,- Obtaining Europass Mobility,- The introduction of the European dimension of vocational training to ZSZ No. 1,- Increasing the skills of international cooperation by employees of ARR, ZSZ No. 1 and AIAM.The project will have an impact on labor market institutions, vocational training, public administration through the provision of good practice encouraging to join the ERASMUS +.The project will have long-term impact on the participants, as the scheme will help to increase the chances of graduates for employment.Potential long-term benefits for ARR and partners will be developing a range of support for young people in preparing their mobility.
