The main aim of the project is developing the skills of using the German language by the 2 teachers of Tischner's Secondary School No.2 in Żory, who will take part in a two-week mobility to Austria and a language course and developing the competence and multicultural skills and the application of modern methods of teaching in multicultural team by the 18 teachers and 2 employees of secretary’s office who will take part in the two-week mobility to Malta as well as cultural training course. During the training course abroad the participants will improve language skills of German language and English language in the scope of psychology, pedagogies, didactics and cultural aspects as well as methods and forms of work on lessons. 2 teachers including the headmaster and the English teacher will participate in the German language training course at B1 level and 19 teachers and 2 employees of secretary’s office will develop training of cultural and multicultural skills.The school needs staff qualified in the field of using the foreign languages and competence of working in multicultural environment due to the European projects already in progress: vocational practices abroad, school partnership project, strategic partnerships- Erasmus + international students exchanges, specialised professional teachers training courses abroad, e-twinning projects and school projects: the bilingual project - enrichment of the professional vocabulary of German and English languages, library lessons.The participants will be given language and cultural preparation for the training abroad. German and English language course and classes about culture, mentality and history of Austria and Malta will be provided. The teachers will gain a new experience, will use skills on school projects and will be involved in the international institution activity. The enrollment has been administered by the recommitment committee. Taking part in the training is in full agreement with the needs of the participants due to the European measure and has influence on raising the school effectiveness. The project will affect taking action with the aim of increasing the learning motivation of students and improving the effects of education. The partner in the project is the Institute of English language Studies in Malta and ActiLingua Academy in Austria. Both institutions will carry on the training, provide the tutorial accommodation, take parts in cultural events in free time and will deal with transport and will also monitor the tutorial and the necessary evaluation.The project will be monitored by the monitoring committee. The teachers taking part in the project will see to planning, travel arrangements, insurance and the provision of teaching aids and necessary information material. The School has chosen the partner because of its many years experience in the field of European programmes and being the specialist in the language and multicultural education. European Mobility certificates will be prepared together with the training institutions and provided for the participants. They will also be given certificates. Before the departure, during and after the training there will be a series of informational meetings and an official Assembly during which the certificates will be handed into the participants. The evaluation will be conducted during and after the course. The current information about the project will be published on the school's website in order to publicise the results of the project. Information about the project will also be provided online on the zory24.pl website and in local press. The curriculum, the conditions of taking part of the course and the timetable have been consulted with the both partners the Institute of English language Studies and ActiLingua Academy.
