The project "Come over here and join us!" is a great opportunity for the German and Ukrainian young people to meet together in the Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine, in order to discuss the integration of the Ukrainian youth into the European community, to learn principles of the open democratic society and to establish cultural and traditional links between the youth of Germany and of the Ukraine. The project will take place from the 24th of December 2016 until the 7th of January 2017 (15 days) in the settlement Slavsko, Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine.Participating countries: Germany, UkraineOfficial language: EnglishIn the proposed project we plan to organize a meeting between the German and the Ukrainian youth. The envisaged objectives are the development of a European identity, consideration of important political, cultural and historical events in the European Union, understanding of the democratic development both in the Europe and in neighbouring countries. Related topics and subjects will be studied, discussed and analysed during the whole period of the project by means of seminars, round tables, debated, visits of public and social institutions, etc.The aim of the project is to bring participants from different though historically close countries as Germany and the Ukraine closer to each other. The own culture and social values should be demonstrated in order to establish the necessary basis for mutual understanding and communication. The project consists of 40 participants:Young people aged 13-25 years old from Germany - 17 Participants, 3 Group Leaders.Young people aged 13-25 years from the Ukraine - 17 Participants, 3 Group Leaders.
