The objective of the Project is for young, teachers and NGOs to build cooperation and exchange good practice in the field of risky behavior of young. To educate young for peer education for drug prevention and reproductive health so that they can transfer the knowlede to peers in their communities, actively involving into problem solving in their surrounding. The project promotes mobility of the young increased voluntarism on both sides of the border. Applied methods of informal learning send messages on drug prevention and reproductive health through workshops since peers have great influence on each other. Team work encourages young to learn and work as a team creating awareness of health issues giving them selfconfidence to enjoy life without drugs or risky behavior. Activities involve 5th-8th grade Primary school pupils from both communities. They are active participants of the process of decision making and implementation of the activities. The young from cross-border communities meet each other, build cooperation, learn from each other, become selfconfident, develop creating a surrounding without drugs. The project activities are based on schools and approaches based on family. Joint thematic workshops strenghten teachers with new knowledg for early detection of risky behavior manifesting and prevention. It increases cooperation with parents and organizing thematic metings on strenghtenning parental role and respond to needs, communication even in the situation of experiment with substances. Joint activities contribute introducing local needs and interests initiating specific activities which will enable the individuals to understand better each other, to work together and participate regularly in other fields and to build other partnerships. The project is based on economic investment into prevention instead of lon and uncertain curing and rehabilitation. Transfering good practice in the cross-border region disseminates the strategy and by thematic TV broadcasts and printed material increases awareness of the young health protection problem. Achievements: The project envisioned and achieved the following results:- Organization of a 5-day training seminar for 25 pupils (12 from Bor, 13 from Vidin) for peer educators in drug prevention in Bor, Serbia. All the participants successfully passed the training and were awarded training certificates;- Organization of a 5-day training seminar for 27 pupils (14 from Bor, 13 from Vidin) for peer educators in in reproductive health, STD and HIV/AIDS in Bor, Serbia. All the participants successfully passed the training and were awarded training certificates;- Initiation and support of 152 drug prevention workshops (82 in Bor and 70 in Vidin) in 18 Primary schools supporting 3400 pupils V-VIII grades (1900 in Bor and 1500 in Vidin). The workshops were realized by pairs of trained volunteers;- Initiation and support of 80 workshops (50 in Bor and 30 in Vidin) on reproductive health, preventing STD, HIV/AIDS with Primary school 7th and 8th grade pupils were organized in 18 Primary schools with 7th and 8th graders. They were realized by pairs of volunteers;- Organizing two 2-day thematic joint workshops on youth mental health for teachers in Bor and Vidin involving 40 teachers from both countries;- Organizing ''quiz of knowledge'' between Bor and Vidin pupils on health prevention live on TV, in both communities school, semi-final and final quizzes were organized;- Organizing 4 thematic lectures on TV, 2 radio broadcasts.The project was successfully completed in April 2014.
