"Know How":TC for youth workers on promoting HR and ICL in Russian speaking communities
Start date: Jul 1, 2008,

The project foresees organising of the training course for Russian-speaking youth workers from Programme and Partner countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) who do not know English language and because of that are not able to participate in European international training courses. The "doors" for personal development and raising awareness in the field of youth non-formal education for them are closed. The main aim of the training course is to promote understanding of the human rights education and intercultural learning for the Russian-speaking youth workers and to support their development as professional educators. The main topic of the training are human rights education with special focus on intercultural learning and active youth participation in social life and democracy processes. As the result we expect developing and organising of new qualitative international youth projects, which will involve young people from rural areas from 7 partner countries, promotion of the Youth in Action programme in the participating countries, and also raising competencies and knowledge of youth workers/leaders to multiply understanding of human rights education and intercultural learning, and to empower young people for active participation in their environment.training course took place in Drabuzininku kaimas resort camp, Lithuania in 22 - 31 August 2008.
