The project was directed to students of ZSZiO Technical School in Żukowo of the following specialties: economic technician, IT technician, logistics technician, advertising technician. Month-long internships took place in modern companies in Portsmouth in Great Britain. Participants developed the practical skills connected with their profession and had opportunities to confront theory with practice. At the same time, students acquired key skills, such as second language communication, workplace communication, social skills and cultural sensitivity skills, in particular those connected with accepting workplace diversity and preventing prejudice and racism. They gained basic law orientation; they also became familiarized with workers’ rights and responsibilities.. Thanks to the project, the students will become more active professionally and will enjoy greater mobility with respect to their workplaces, jobs and even place of living. The above mentioned skills were certified with proper documentation recognized in Great Britain and other EU countries (Europass Mobility, ECVET).
