Dobriša Cesarić Primary School is located in a quiet part of Zagreb and its students are from surrounding area. In the past several years students who came from other countries (Albania, Latvia, Macedonia, Bosnia, Roma) are also attending school. There are students who moved to other European countries and we maintain contact via eTwinning project "The Cravat". As a result of the economic and migrant crisis, we are expecting futher changes of the population structure and because of that the school wants to contribute to easier interaction of foreigners and also adjust more smoothly to domestic families. For some students there is a high risk of early school leaving because of low living standard, poor parental support, stigmatization and difficulty in mastering basic skills to continue their education and orientation in the labour market. The school has established a Project Team whose task is to engage in EU programmes and introduce informal, innovative and modern forms od teaching and learning in the school and the national curriculum with an emphasis on language, intercultural and ICT skills. Through networking and training courses organized by the National Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes (AMPEU), we have learned about structured courses of non-formal education and working with students with special needs (immigrant, Roma, learning difficulties, economis barriers). The Project Team conducted a transparent process of selecting participants in mobility to the courses to acquire new knowledge and experience necessary for its implemetation. New activity in the school curriculum will introduce the creative classes, intercultural workshops, courses of foreign language learning, ICT courses, sport activities and various cultural events. The new extra curricular activities will be appropriate for all students and adults who wish to acquire new friend, knowledge and skills and to increase the motivation fot lifelong learning. New bilingual methodic manual od good practice will be beneficial to all educational proffesionals interested in non-formal education, working with vulnerable groups, ICT education, prevention od discrimination and early school leaving, promote interculturalism, toleranc and Erasmus+ programme. It will be useful for participanting in the new courses that the school want to provide for colleagues from Croatia and abroad and for developing new projects. The Project Team selected five participants who will take part in five courses for non-formal education, the development of intercultural competences, ICT skills, prevention of early school leaving, and mastering English for EU projects. When choosing courses, advantage had courses with practical workshops, teamwork, study of good pratice, prices and locations, as well as possibility of dissemination. Selected courses ar in Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland and Norway. On those courses it is provided a large number od participants which increases the possibility of finding a partner for strategic partnership. The Project Team meets once a week to monitor information at portal School Education Gateway, eTwinning, the websites of tje courses organizers, AMPEU and the European Commision. For each participant in this mobility, the Project Team will provide maximum support before, during and after the mobility. Meeting will be organized at which participants will be able to find all the information, get help with travel arrangements and a brochure with all the necessary information. After the mobility, the Project Team will introduce new extracurricular activity using the help of the participants in which the ultimate beneficiaries of the project will have the opportunity to achievethe learning outcomes set in EU strategic documents, edit new methodical manual, organize new courses and prepare new projects. The beneficiaries are children and Roma adults, immigrants students with learning dificulties and/or behavior, students at high risk od early school leaving, students who tend to discrimination or are its victims, decision makersat all levels, the media, associations, schools, kindergartens, libraries, experts and the society in general.
