Summary Youth Exchange"Keep Calm & H2O" arises because many young people in Spain and Poland have been deeply touch by the problems that war refugees from shattered countries experiment and deals with "social exclusion" through the action of (volunteering) and personal awareness of the drama that affects refugees. By this different activities young people will develop their emotions, will help them to become committed citizens and will develop skills that will be transferable to their working life in the future. The coexistence days in Zywiec will promote integration and cultural exchange, while new ideas will arise from these days to include in volunteering among young people, mainly with refugees.The project objective is to involve a large number of young people in two countries to determine what young people understand by social exclusion; to have a first hand knowledge of how groups who are less fortunate overcome adversity and to raise awareness of social problems and attitudes in Spain and Poland.During the stay in Zywiec youngs will work in providing volunteer initiatives designed to assist the different needs of refugees in Spain and Poland. They will develop skills and competencies that after they will put into practice with refugees in their countries (Spain and Poland). They will spend the evenings sharing experiences about this subject.The participants on this activity can be all the young people from both organizations. In the volunteering mobility there will be 20 Spanish and Polish youth workers and 4 workers of both organisations. Youth participants are committed and involved in the tasks of Canfranc and MSSkala Foundation. Workers have between 3 and 5 years related organizations and their task is to raise awareness and volunteer recruitment and training.The activities are aimed to:Before mobility: to the spread of the project, set goals, establish work plan to achieve these goals, provide informative-educational workshops on issues affecting the project and training workshops for implementing the task. Have a personal coach to learn to recognize and translate the skills developed in the certificates and various volunteer opportunities will be identified at the same time:During mobility: they are voluntary actions undertaken daily for people with high risk of social exclusion and there will be training sessions, workshops, etc. In addition it will be an opportunities for the exchange of new ideas always looking after refugees in both countries. In the hours of coexistence with other young people there will be a room for informal learning activities (Cineforum, group dynamics, discussion and outing to places of cultural interest).After the mobility: sharing of learning during the exchange and dissemination of results, they will be helped with the development of the Youth Pass and the final report. Work on this issue will continue and improving topics about this project, both in Spain and in Poland, in order to have continuity in time and young people will continue to unfold in the task of voluntary for refugees integrated into the programs of the two organizations.The work methodology is formal (workshops, discussions, games, cultural visits) and informal (share time and space together, interacting with meals and group dynamics, dialogue, situation assessment, volunteering and testimonies about personal experiences). The project contributes to the process of non-formal learning and the promotion of social and personal development of the young people involved. With it we will be more sensitive to certain issues and responsible for the circumstances that surround us, as well as more thoughtful and responsible in our actions through volunteering. The use of non-formal learning methods will help developing communication and listening skills that will help us to be more confident in expressing our opinions in a climate of intercultural dialogue and openness.The implemented activities and the working methods contribute to the process of non-formal education and the promotion of social and personal development of young people involved. Volunteering as a mode of communication is the way in which these young people from different cultures will establish a closer relationships.Keep Calm & Help Others will have a significant impact: first in the young people involved, who are the first recipients of the project, the two organizations and their workers.Leadership will be maximize during all phases of the project. "Keep Calm & Help toOther" will be led by Youth Workers and young people.
