The name of our project is: How Long Will It Last?! Here We Come!The most of our activities will take place in Saarde parish.Our project belongs to the programme named Youth in Action.The subject of our project is local politics and we are trying to find out why to be politically active.The goals of our project are: *to be active citizens and increase the possibilities to take part in local and European Union political life; *to see ourselves as citizens of the European Union.Our project lasts from 1st of May to 1st of Oct 2013Participants are: the 10th form from Kilingi-Nõmme Gymnasium and the pupils who graduated the 9th form in our school last year and continue their studying in Pärnu the 10th form from Häädemeeste High School the 10th form from Vändra GymnasiumIn our leadergroup there are 14 pupils and we want to involve approximately 80 pupils. We are going to find out the main tasks of our local authority in Saarde and spend one day there as jobshadows. In addition we are going to be jobshadows in local authorities of Vändra, Häädemeeste and Audru.We are going to visit some institutions of European Union and hopefully we can spend there a day as jobshadows aswell.We will organize two-day-long seminar, where we will discuss our knowledge of jobshadowing with others. And will discuss all the answers we have got to our questions about politics and voting.We will spread our knowledge in booklets to all the students in Pärnu and Pärnu county, who study in gymnasium. And we will create an exhibition in Pärnu, where we will show all the project on posters and there will be a blog in web too.This project is the first step in our plans. This one is local and we are going to spread it into Europe.
