The present plan includes: a. Activity 1, with one mobility row of students in Cyprus The row consists of a 10 students of early vocational training at the IEK MORFI, with a focus on the field of “Operators of Touristic Units and Hospitality Enterprises”. Hosting Agent: “Intercollege”, Larnaca/Cyprus. The participants will be given a both theoretical and practical [case study] overview on the dominant patterns of tourism, the labor market and the cultural landscape of the visiting site. The project also includes the participants’ acquaintance with up-to-date entrepreneurial initiatives in sustainable tourism, with a view toward their becoming capable of setting forth well-grounded ideas about it, in the near future. What is more, the participants will be given the opportunity to visit hotel enterprises which promote the sustainability of the touristic product, and sites of cultural reference. The project’s major objective is to meet the participants’ need for personal achievement and vocational training, in the field of sustainable tourism and “green” entrepreneurial activity, and, thus, to secure a comparative advantage for them in a quite hectic environment of economic recession and skyrocketed unemployment. In addition, the project aspires to upgrade the participants’ professional skills at digital literation on education and professional activity, revise their perceptions regarding job openings, and bestow upon them international working experience and networking adroitness. To sum up, the project will help the participants increase their self-confidence and appreciate the multicultural dimension of both education and work in a spirit of tolerance and respect for the otherness. The methodological tools at work are theoretical education, labs, lectures, visits in working places, culture reviews, presentations, computer classes, and case studies. The participants will be educated in a novel learning ecosystem, which includes both conventional and unconventional training. Learning outcomes: Participants are expected to expand their perception about policies, practices, and systems in a working environment and to become familiar with the professional paradigm shift from conventional to sustainable patterns of tourist development. The project implements and promotes equal opportunity policy and Its successful implementation will boost our extroversion and synergies with agencies, institutions, organizations, and enterprises, within the framework of the European Union, and advance the modernization and internationalization of our organization. The benefits for both the participants and the beneficiaries will be presented and shall be at their disposal. Thus, they can perfectly form the canvass upon which further improvement of systems, projects and training structures can be achieved.-
