Start date: Oct 1, 2014, End date: Nov 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

With the project "TRAINING IN TOURISM ENTREPRENEURSHIP of the Isle ' the identified needs of beneficiaries are addressed for studying the ways in which employment and entrepreneurship in tourism is supported and the creation of fertile and viable mechanisms and broader partnerships to achieve new business models for Small and medium Tourism Enterprises. Worldwide, in recent years, we have tourism development while increasing demands for services of high quality and matching of money spent on buying them. In our country, the phenomenon and the development of business activity in tourism is still attractive due to the lack of alternative employment opportunities, entrepreneurship in this sector is not an appealing career option for young people starting their careers. Furthermore, the development of entrepreneurship as an academic field in education - training only occurred recently and only in universities. Entrepreneurship became an independent course and ceased to be treated as a reference in other courses. Therefore, training managers in the tourism sector in matters of strengthening employment and entrepreneurship, particularly in tourism that has strategic economic importance for our country, is perhaps the biggest challenge and priority for increasingly extended needs of vocational education and training. The employment integration, employment and business activity in the tourism sector is a major challenge, and for that purpose this plan is to be submitted so its participants can: 1. The transfer of the best practices to help create terms and conditions for creating fertile and viable mechanisms and partnerships implementing innovative business . 2. To support anyone interested in making a good business idea and cope with the difficulties of financial management and access to funding sources. 3. To cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit to create small flexible business by providing quality, innovative services to support small tourist units. Through the project is expected to:  Improve the quality of training by developing new skills and executives of tourism firms.  Improving access to the system of vocational training. It is well established that when innovative educational approaches are adopted the accessibility to the vocational training system is increased.  To promote and reinforce the contribution of vocational training to the process of innovation.  Increasing the resilience and professional profile of responsible training of tourist business to enable them to respond successfully to technological and organizational challenges emerging in this new multilingual and multicultural tourism environment.  Promotion of lifelong learning as a basic educational principle and developing the European dimension in the training. In order for this mobility to be achieved, Spain was chosen as a host country because it has great tourism development and good practices to promote employment and entrepreneurship in tourism. The Association of Professionals of Glossa and Loutraki in Skopelos Island designed this proposal for 20 business executives and HR managers to go for 15 days to Spain and the Host Institution chosen for this mobility is ERASMIA.
