This project proposal, as entitled regards the training of students, in the domain of Agriculture, Food Technology and Nutrition, of the 1st Technical Vocational School οf Mires(1st EPAL of Mires).In the extremely difficult economic and social situation, which affects Greece and as well as many economic sectors of it, innovative manufacturing methods of packaging and marketing of agricultural products may be a key factor of the economy to promote agricultural quality products in new markets. Therefore, the students will be trained in these fields in order to develop their skills, upgrade their professional profile and be able represent the future successful entrepreneurs - farmers.In particular, through theoretical and practical courses, workshops and study visits, the training needs of participants covered by the project and are directly related to labor market needs, focus on the following:- Organizational and management of modern agricultural units- Cultivation and production of quality products- Processing of agricultural products with the use of modern technological equipment- Standardization using new recyclable packaging materials- New methods of marketing and promotion of agricultural products (e-commerce, under contracts agriculture, producer groups)- Sustainable management of agribusiness- A combination of primary, secondary and tertiary production sector through vertically integrated units, designed for multiple economic and social benefits- Implementation of an upgrade planThe participants of this mobility plan is expected to involve 20 students and 2 coordinators - teachers of (1 EPAL of Mires), which for a period of 14 days, will be going to Spain, upon request of the sending institution (1 EPAL of Mires) and the host institution (Agricultural Research Institute and Technology, IRTA) . The planned duration of stay abroad is considered satisfactory to meet the educational needs of the participants so as to acquire specialized knowledge on innovative means of processing - standardization -marketing of agricultural products, which are according to the new market trends. In addition , they will learn how these European standards can be harmonized with the ongoing development of both the local area of Mesara and the rest of Greece.After the end of the main mobility implementation activities, the expected impact the participants will be to gain knowledge and skills for the training subject, extend their formal (europass certificates) and actual qualifications (empirical and experiential training) and language skills, as well as strengthen their sense of European citizenship and promote their personal development. The proposed mobility action will bring considerable profits not only to the participants but also for other groups - targets,which will learn about this Mobility Plan through the diffusion practices. In this way, the learning outcomes of the Mobility Plan will be used the advantage of both the local and the regional development. In conclusion, it will be an excellent good practice guide, leading more entities and organizations to participate in European activities.
