K1 Project SummaryThe participation in a KA1 project of the EU-Erasmus+ programme will foster european cooperation of our schools - Primary School Kuršanec, Primary School Orehovica and Primary School dr. Ivana Novaka Macinec sa školama u Njemačkoj, Mađarskoj, Turskoj i Rumunjskoj with schools in Germany, Hungary, Turke and Romania.. Through the Course in Hungary and european cooperation the quality of teaching related to the prevention of early school leaving will be improved. All three schools from Croatia has 1187 pupils, aged between 7 -15 and 178 colleagues. 70 % of our pupils derive from a weak socio-economic background and/or from national minorities. Therefore the risk of early drop out is quite high, at the moment 15 % of the pupils are at risk to leave school with only lower secondary education or less. In order to support these pupils our school will become a community environment: external stakeholders, like parents, representatives from national minorities, migrant organization, sport and cultural association will be involved into the sphere of school. Thus long lasting support measures for pupils at risk will established.The organizational conditions and contents of these measures will be taught in an international KA 1 teacher training course which will take place in April 2017. Course will last 6 days.We will send 9 colleagues to training course, they are already engaged in extra-curricular activities. After their participation they will act as multipliers, e.g. give workshops which address colleagues from other schools, which have a similar size and structure of ours. These workshops will be announced by the regional educational authority name, Education and teacher training Agency. We aim to reach 40-50 colleagues and headmasters. Also in their schools support measures for pupils at risk of early drop will be implemented.In our detailed strategic development plan we put down our objectives, activities to reach them and quantified indicators.
