KA 1 Realschule Triesen
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

Liechtenstein is a very small country with 37'000 inhabitants. That's why it is very important that we exchange experience with teachers from other countries. Here in Liechtenstein we know all our colleagues very well. We should use the opportunity to go out, stay in other countries and learn from others about their teaching methods. New ideas and new points of view will be the benefits. After our last stays in England we reported to our colleagues our extraordinary experiences and now they are interested to get also some inputs for their teaching practice. Our school is ready to take the next step in the European journey. Also our drama classes want to do another project! They felt our enthusiasm and wanted to get the same experience through performing a play in front of a big audience. An example: for many years we have pupils from Turkey and we try to integrate them to our way of living. Last year I met two teachers from Turkey. I was surprised about their creativity in teaching and how self-confident they were about their culture. I learnt a lot working with them and I understand my Turkish pupils way better than before. After this last teacher training I was able to develop a play together with my 16 pupils of our drama group. We all are very proud of our success as we have performed it more than three times.Every week I use games in my English and other lessons which I have learnt last year. The pupils and I have a lot of fun.I'm excited to attend the next teacher training "Further Drama Techniques for the English Language Classroom" in Exeter!
