Secondary school project, Prague 10, V Úžlabině 320 is scheduled for the school year 2016/2017 with the long-term impact. The project is in the context of the current necessity to increase the demand level of professional employers as well as students´ language training. All students after their graduation will obtain secondary education with a graduation exam and will be ready for entry into practice. The aim of the project is to gain specialized, practical skills and new ideas for teaching. The course participants will learn about the latest ICT trends in the teaching of foreign languages, improve their language skills, acquire the skills how to apply CLIL in teaching, gain new insights on how to work with students who have special educational needs, enhance the knowledge and skills in environmental education. However, the most important benefit is the possibility of comparison of teaching methods and experiences throughout Europe.As the main partner of our project, we have chosen only one foreign educational organization I.S.P. International Study Programmes, which has many years of experience with the organization of various courses for teachers, and that a part of the courses includes not only theoretical learning but also various excursions to local schools where teachers can gain valuable experience and the inspiration that ultimately will benefit not only the participants, but especially students and school. It also assumes different possibilities of partnerships or international projects in eTwinning.The project involves four teachers and one representative of management. These participants have been carefully selected based on a formal selection procedure. They presented their own project development, where their reasons and motivations were properly described. Moreover they had to justify why they would intend to attend such a course.Methodology of the project will begin with registrations at the foreign educational organization, then the project participants´ self-studying procedure will follow. They will study recommended literature, as well as theoretical content of the project. Some participants will attend commercial courses in the Czech Republic in order to improve their language skills.After the participants´ returns the courses results, new skills and knowledge will be implemented into teaching. Work on creating worksheets will begin, lesson shadowing will be provided to other teachers, the project results will be published on the school website and blog. The participants will share their experience at seminars of various types. European Partnerships and new creative projects in eTwinning are supposed to be initiated.Evaluation process will be held at the end of the project on the basis of the survey. The project review will ensue and the objectives of further development of the school educational process will be determined. Monitoring is very important for school management because of the scheduling of other related projects and school activities.The school expects that the project will not only lead into an increase in the educational fields of the teachers, but it will help with the introduction of new, perspective and European methods into teaching and moreover it will increase students' motivation to learn, and thus improve their academic performance.
