This project is a youth exchange that will take place in Trenčín, Slovakia from 16th to 23th August 2015. It will host 29 participants from Slovakia, Romania, Lithuania and Bulgaria. The project is an initiative of a group of young people who would like to learn more about how to lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle in order to take active charge of their health. During one sample week, participants will experience a balanced lifestyle that will provide them global wellbeing. By means of interactive workshops, they will learn more about the benefits of various sports and physical activities on their bodies and minds. They will also discuss different foods and their impact in our health, and learn how to prepare some simple nutritious dishes they can prepare themselves. Throughout the whole duration of the project, the young people will take active participation in all activities. All partners will be responsible to plan the program, which will be organized by the young people themselves with the assistance and guidance of the youth leaders. Participants will be in contact before the exchange, during the preparation phase, and will exchange ideas about the program. During the exchange, participants will have workshops with groups of local youngsters who do different kinds activities such as Street Workout, hiking, dancing, yoga, etc, as well as healthy food workshops. This interaction will be beneficial for both sides, as they will exchange experiences, ideas and values regarding these activities and a healthy lifestyle. This project will give young volunteers the chance to gain information about and to experience a healthy lifestyle that promotes holistic health (body, mind and spirit). They will go home with tools and ideas on how to lead an active and healthy life and also with a plan to promote such ideals among young people in their realities. At the same time, they will learn more about each others' cultures and realities, develop their sense of tolerance and understanding and other skills such as language, social and intercultural.
