Over the years of 2012-2014 our center has planned out the development of administration and management, implementing the inner vocational system of quality safeguard. The Center is aiming for the best vocational education in order to prepare high functioning technicians who are able to independently integrate into the labour market of both Lithuania and The European Union while at the same time appeal to the needs of those around their homeland. In the strategic plan of educational development it is intended to increase the potentials of learning for life programme and the quality of its processes. Goals that are planned out to achieve for the programme: 1. To develop the quality of vocational education while encouraging the traffic of technicians for educational purposes; 2. To reinforce practical skills in the workplace abroad, encouraging the development of required skill sets needed to successfully integrate in the labour market; 3. To cultivate expertise through vocational education; 4. To develop the possibilities of vocational education for those who have been socially isolated. Planned activities: Activity A1 . Practical training in companies. Participants in the project - initial vocational training florists and decorators (builder ) from the Vocational Training Programme ( WTP). Through this project we are trying to achieve: • Broaden students' horizons by introducing them to the peculiarities of another nations professional sector; • Foster entrepreneurship and help students develop the international and intercultural competencies while at the same time developing the communication skills and learning dynamics and abilities to take responsibility for their academic performance and professional achievements; • Help shape students' professional identity and strengthen their self-esteem; • Refine the practical professional skills. A2 activity . Consortium. Monitoring(assisting) of the task in educational institutions. Participants of the consortium – students from Birzu technology and business training center; Kupiškio technology center and Representatives from the Panevezys Margarita Rimkevičaitė school’s management of quality as well as the KVS auditors. The main goal of vocational training specialists is to improve professional competencies needed in coordinating the Quality Management System ISO 9001. Expected results of the project: A1 . Participants in the project will deepen their knowledge and professional skills of the host organization's business enterprises in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Malta. Such experience will widen the horizons of the students, since they will be familiarizing with the other nations peculiarities in the professional sector. The project will directly influence creativity, competitiveness, occupation, entrepreneurial spirit, it will help gain international and intercultural competencies, develop communication skills and induce the ability to assume responsibility for their academic performance and professional achievements . Participants will gain international experience that will enable them to successfully compete in the labor market. The improvement of students' foreign language skills will help them appreciate the experience. Participating in project activities (i.e, preparation of internship programs in preparation for the trip, processing of documents, signing agreements) will complement the participants ' CVs. New relationships while living and working abroad, in foreign cultural and linguistic environment will improve participants independence, self-reliance. The internship period will be included as a practical part of the training, they will receive Europass mobility documents and other certificates . A2 . 1. Vocational teachers familiarize themselves with the quality of Spanish and the French institutions of vocational training system. 2. Participants will gain international experience in projects of international mobility, will establish personal contacts with foreign nations teachers, specialists. 3. Recommendations on school authorities and on programme quality management will be presented and published on the websites of the consortium of schools and school communities 4. The results of internship will be presented in the school community at the professional skills development seminar. Project dissemination will take place at all stages of the project at each participating educational institution - from contract signing to project completion
