Eight EU & Japanese departments will expand the existing AUSMIP network and exchange towards a jointEU-Japanese educational masters 'AUSMIP' module in the field of architecture and urban planning.Through the pooling of expertise, stimulation and integration of curricula, teaching methodologies, jointresearch and internships within the field of Architecture and Urban Planning organized withinin a context ofEU-Japanese comparative studies, the partners strive to realize an innovative cross-over educationalprogram, leading to a joint-ECTS accredited degree, combining a full semester exchange, completed by aninternship or research and intensive language training.Recruiting top students, whilst simultaneously detecting and introducing top academic content and exchangebeyond the partners departments, will guarantee the formation of an outstanding pedagogic environment,giving a lasting impetus to sustain the program.An intensive cultural preparation, parentage system and permanent rotation of staff and faculty staff willeffectively establish an integrated EU-Japanese module, assessed by external experts.In total 48 EU and 48 Japanese students will be exchanged, staff teaching/research mobility will total 24 EUand 24 Japanese faculty members.
