Journal numérique européen
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Our school wishes to open up to the rest of Europe with an all English digital paper, we used new technologies and promote the use of English as a foreign language. We sent one of our teachers to England for two weeks during the school holidays for some training. she improved her command of English, got even more familiar with new technology and run the digital paper project. As soon as the school year begins, this teacher (in "upe.2a") will involve pupils in primary school Cycle 3 (including the "eana") in the digital paper project. Groups changed regularly to involve as many pupils as possible in the project. Pupils will use computers at their disposal to write articles but could'n exchange information with other foreign pupils via video-conferences (for technical problems) So partner school pupils (english, danish and spanish didn't take part in the project to write articles on similar topics but we used Etwinning to exchange with them. Our school be involved in this one-year programme. The digital newpaper is visible by all (https://madmagz.com/fr/magazine/573243) The work done was left on our school digital network. Our aim is to give a European dimension to our school, to make it possible for our pupils to discover other cultures and make them feel more and more European. We also want them to improve their English language skills and use communication and information technologies on a regular basis. We believe that in the future our school will be known abroad for its European projects.
