Joint Applicable Research for Natural Recourses Preservation and Environmental Protection in the Cross border Region within the municipalities of Pehchevo and Simitli
The project solves the problem of target partners by introducing modern information technologies and innovative methods in the field of GIS and remote sensing combined with ground-based field observations. This contributes to faster integration of the region to the standards of European regions and helps to uncover the natural potential of the area. The project establish new administrative relations between the municipalities of Pehchevo and Simitli and joint GIS database that is used, updated and maintained in long term not only by the municipalities, but also from various local stakeholders (individuals and authorities)
