The project is the continuation of a previous successful project designed to nurture the cultural heritage of the region. The goal of the project is the celebration, improvement, passing on, reviving and creating a living cultural heritage of the project area. Three cultural events will be jointly organized by the project partners, with the emphasis put on the exchange of traditional knowledge (artisans participating in the project), as well as the promotion and nurturing of the joint heritage. The project will celebrate the similarities of the three partners and improve the existing pool of knowledge by building on foundations set by the previous project. Also, the project will continue to involve children, teaching them to keep the joint cross-border heritage alive. Achievements: The partners built on the earlier successful co-operation within the ‘CULTUREVIVE’ project to achieve a deeper and tighter connection between the border communities taking part in the project. This time three interconnected public cultural events were organised, with an opportunity for local artisans and craftsmen to exchange experiences and practices on several occasions within specialised workshops with the focus on preserving traditional crafts and joint cultural Heritage.
