Job shadowing- sposobem podnoszenia kompetencji zawodowych współczesnego nauczyciela

There are 17 teachers from Powiatowy Zespół Szkół No. 2 in Pszczyna (The School Complex of Karol Miarka) who will take part in the exchange program. Improvement of qualifications and their own development by using innovative teaching methods are one of the many reasons for the participation in the exchange. All the participants expressed their willingness and the need of further professional development through the participation in the program and exchange of the experiences. This exchange is supposed to contribute to enhance the image of the teacher, directly affecting the development of the school and improve the quality of education in our organization. The goal of the exchange carried out in Portugal, are mastering the innovative methods of the work with students, personal development of the teaching staff and finding out about the Portuguese educational system . All this will be introduce and applied in our school. The strong input will be put on finding out about new methods of teaching, managing an educational institutions and organizational solutions. The exchange of experiences in Portugal will allow us to observe and take part in the school daily live, contact between students and their teachers, class tutors and contact with employers. The project will contribute to the popularization of the mobility amongst other teachers, will demonstrate its importance while the learning of foreign languages and getting to know other communities in order to expand the cultural awareness. During the lesson observation the participants will find out about new methodological, pedagogical and organization techniques used by our Portuguese partner. All aims of the project will be carried out thanks to the cooperation with the international partner from Portugal which will guarantee the best quality of the project. The final debate with the participants and other teachers will be one of results of the project. During the meeting the benefits of the exchange program which will be introduced. As far as the long-term benefits are concern the following advantages will be introduced: improving methods of the teaching in order to motivate students, increase of the awareness of foreign languages knowledge, improving the quality of school work A seven days exchange program will be held in autumn 2014.
