Języki obce przyszłością naszej młodzieży
Start date: Dec 31, 2014, End date: Dec 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project is for the school which is located in the countryside. The students come from families which are in very difficult financial situation. They are unmotivated and there is an enormous role of school to encourage them to learn more. The aim of the project is to raise the professional qualifications of our teachers which will also contribute to the development of the school and will have a positive influence on our students.. Two teachers will participate in the project. (Russian and German teachers) In the project's preparation phase the teachers together with the principals will deal with all the matters concerning the application and will make sure that the courses they choose fully satisfy their needs The project may be a chance for a further development of our school through an increase in its prestige which foreign courses for teachers cause. It will enable cooperation and experience exchange between our teachers and those from foreign countries. The teachers who will participate in the project have a chance to improve their language skills and also extend their knowledge about the culture, geography and history of the countries they go to. When preparing for the project the teachers will also deepen their methodological knowledge as well as refresh their language skills needed to better understand the content of the courses. We believe the project will be beneficial not only for the participating teachers but also for other employees of our school because the new knowledge will be passed on to them. This will happen during individual meetings between teachers as well as group meetings among language teachers within the language teaching team. The benefits of the project will also be felt by the students - ones which learn at our school now and also for those who will learn here in the coming years. This in turn can have a positive impact on the development of our school through an increase in the numbers of students applying for places at our school. It is a long-term benefit because it will ensure continuity of the work of our school. It is crucial in so far as it will give students from nearby villages an opportunity to continue their education at a school which is not far from their homes.
