The project „ Language helps to understand ourselves and the world” for mobility of school Staff will be fulfilled by Gimnazjum Miejskie nb 2 in Minsk Mazowiecki for 18 months from 01.07.2016 to 31.12.2017.The main aims of the project:- Raising the level of English teachers’ methodological and language competence- Creating possibility for the English language teachers to have a contact with everyday language that they teach, culture of English speaking countries as well as the new ways of teaching and methodology of teaching English- The improvement of English language teaching as well as making the results of English exams better - Widening school’s offer by making language classes and tourist- language classes- Making an informal position of a person who will be a methodologies expert and creating leaders of English subject teachers’ team- Widening the offer of inter schooling and opening to cooperation in methodology of English teaching with other schools,- Developing pupils’ motivation in gaining knowledge , worlds cognition and getting to know themselves,- Introducing new forms , tools and working methods into our lessons, effective using ICT in lessons, developing teachers’ creativity,- Promoting the value of studing throughout the whole life among teachers and students,- Enhancement school’s image of European dimention, opened to local community’s needs and ready to get challenges of the 21st CenturyPARTICIPANTS of the project are two English language teachers who are willing to improve their job abilities and to share the knowledge and skills with others.ACTIONS in the project are participating the two teachers in methodology and language courses in English , using ICT in lessons, acknowledging with new trends in teaching as well as methods of teaching second language using modern tools and activities, acquiring, organizing and processing information and materials and e- learning as a tool for studying and teaching.METHODOLOGY the choice of the teachers was based on their accuracy possibilities and teaching skills of the teachers according to the aims of the project; the selection of the teachers that are authors of pedagogical innovations for their language classes and tourist- language classes.THE FORESEEN RESULTS: - Increasing the teachers’ language and methodological competence,- Creating a natural leader with the competence of methodology of teaching English ,- Developing the quality of English language lessons as well as motivating students to learn,- Increasing the results of an English after school exam ,- Developing inter school job training, exchanging good apprenticeship among teachers,- Starting the cooperation between schools to get support in English methodology,LONG TERM POTENTIAL BENEFITS:- Starting the cooperation with teachers from other European countries in order to create a project for school partnership- Inspiring school’s staff to taking multicultural actions,- Building up school’s European image,- Getting ready for our school to introduce international projects.
