The area of interest of the project: 'Language and profession a key to success' is to organize international internships for students of following faculties: logistics, hotelier, nutrition and food services technician in ZSZ in Braniewo.Mobility organisation arises due to students’, teaching staff, local surroundings needs and is consistent with The European School Development Plan. Project will be an integral part of general and vocational education as well as extracurricular activities led by school. The aim of the project is to get acquired knowledge about companies abroad which are closely related to the study fields taught at school. Among the companies there will be companies connected with a logistic branch, hotels, guest houses and restaurants. The aim of the internships is a comparison of working methods in Poland with methods applied in Germany, getting to know modern devices and technologies, improvement of students’ and teachers’ mobility under vocatinal training and obtaining qualifications recognised on European level.Implementation of the project will result in the higher vocational exams pass rate, it will help both students and teachers to achieve comunicative level of language proficiency in two foreign languages and will help graduates to enter European market.Length of the project is 24 months. There will be 60 participants in all mobilities. They will be divided into four equal groups (15 participants in each). Every group will go to Germany under a surveilance of two teachers. In the initial phase of the implementation of the project students will take part in pedagogical -cultural and language training. During a month stay in Germany students will complete an intership in cmpanies, where they will get familaiar with the line’s documentation and correspondence in freign language. During the internships students will be under a surveilance of their teachers and counsellors of the host organisation. Interhips will be constantly monitored and will undergo nonstop as well as final evaluation, similarly to the rest of the project activities (project’s promotion, recruitment, education of the beneficiaries, financial settlement, project’s results disseminating).In the prject one may see material as well as immaterial results of the project.The immaterial results will be: breaking down language barriers, self-confidence and vocational skills increament. Material effects on the other hand are as follows: EUROPASS-Mobility, vocational skills credit ECVET, a foreign interships participant guide, mini Polish-German-Enlish dictionary for logistics, hotel and gastronomy lines.Participation in mobilities of the teaching staff will encourage them to further development of their skills and will share their knowledge with their co-workers who did not have opportunity participating directly in foreign mobility.Competences obtained by students and teachers will contribute to the level of vocational training at school, increament of the pass rate during mature and vocational exams and quality of services in the future. Teachers’ engagement in European projects will shape the image of school among the local community as active, open to international cooperation and therefore more attractive to potential students. Future school graduates will influence the quality of hotel and gastronomy services on the local market. Also teachers themselves will gain a great experience while working on the project.
