Implementation of the project entitled "Riding for everyone" aims at exchanging experience on the organization of recreational riding in Poland and France, in order to inoculate the passion of riding and increasing the number of young people engaged in horseback riding for relaxation and enjoyment. The participants of the project from the Polish side are 9 young enthusiasts of equestrian sport at the age of 16-19, the members of the Ośrodek Rekreacji i Rehabilitacji Konnej "Tabun" which is a part of Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury – Dom Harcerza in Krakow.French side of the project involves 9 young people aged 16-19 years from an agricultural school - Maison Familiale Rurale of Noyant de Touraine, passionate about the cultivation of equestrian sports and interested in expanding their knowledge on the subject.During the project we plan to visit various recreational clubs near Cracow to discuss their offer, their methods and financing, and compare them with similar centers operating in France. The main methods used during our exchange will be workshops, discussions, presentations, exchange of experience and other methods of non-formal education. In addition to that we are planning active knowledge of the various proposals of equestrian activities such as field trips, rallies, practice jumping or dressage manege, assistance in hippotherapy on the assumption that developing best skills is held during expanding own experience.During the exchange we want to create the design of the equestrian center, with good infrastructure, equipment, professional learning and nice social atmosphere. The project envisages spending time together at the campfire with a guitar, learning traditional songs and preparing and tasting dishes. We will organize intercultural evening during which we will present our countries, culture, customs and traditions, including those related to horse riding. We plan to prepare and conduct various games to integrate, foster mutual understanding and break language barriers. One of the other objectives of the project is to enrich the offer of our centers with new ideas about both methods of working with horses and enriching our educational offers, eg. The organization of „TREC” a new, increasingly popular riding competition which came do Poland from France. We plan to share with our French guests our knowledge and experience in hippotherapy and therapeutic riding for people with disabilities – the areas, which are still developing in France. These types of activities will provide learning of tolerance and understanding of the needs of people with disabilities.Participation in the project not only will increase their knowledge and skills, but above all will show the enormity of the benefits of horse riding and will also show the importance of cooperation and exchange of ideas and experiences between partners from different countries.Another advantage of the project is enriching the knowledge of european cultures, improving language proficiency and gaining awareness of the need for language learning.
