The overall objective of the project: Jaroslaw – Uzhgorod: common initiative for improving the touristic attractiveness of historical partner cities is to improve the competitiveness of the Polish and Ukrainian borderland (Podkarpackie region and Zakarpattya region) within 5 years after the project realization through the use of the existing cultural and tourist potential. The objective of the Applicant is to create an original touristic product that shall pose as an attraction for borderland inhabitants as well as domestic and foreign tourists, based on rich cultural heritage of both partner cities. Expected Results: Creating of an appropriate infrastructure for cross-border tourism in Jaroslaw (Poland). Creating of an appropriate infrastructure for cross-border tourism in Uzhgorod (Ukraine). The population of cross-border regions (Podkarpackie region and Zakarpattya region) is aware of the accessibility of reconstructed historic buildings
