Our proposal aims to train 15 teachers of 4th SEK of Thessaloniki in educational policy in learning activities management
systems for the creation and implementation of digitalized courses. The need for such a training resulted from the fact that the
upgrade of students’ education in Greece is directly related to the quality of teachers’ training. Additionally, the use of the potential
offered by ICT in the classroom is feasible for teachers of all disciplines, to enhance learning (either in personal) or in distance
education. The necessity for continuing education and lifelong learning is constantly rising in all educational frameworks. In this
context, e-learning tools facilitate the teaching methods of all field and fend off the barriers of traditional forms . Subsequently,
teachers become capable to confront the challenges of new technologies which require considerable skills to be able to handle a
constantly transformed educational field. Additionally, the knowledge gained will help to support and facilitate the organization of
teaching methods either in the classroom or remotely. The most important outcome of this placement is that the participants will
transfer their educational knowledge and incorporate it in the educational process. Extra estimated results are:
- To promote the learning activities management systems
