The Tournai and Douai area have fairly similar social problems. But they are also characterised by highquality heritage sites (urban, rural or mining). Therefore, the partners want to cooperate on an integrated and sustainable revaluation of their heritage. Achievements: Action 1Upon completion, the project enabled:- the creation of an estaminet La Couturette in Saméon;- the renovation of 4 façades in Tournai;- the maintenance of 2 historic façades in Tournai;- the creation of flats in Tournai. Action 2To highlight their achievements, the partners:- created a website: www.projet-pistes.eu;- organised 7 press conferences;- developed 3 brochures, with one explaining the project and including photos of the renovated and/or maintained buildings.
