The in-service teacher training courses in another country within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme Key Action 1 for Mobility of Learners and Staff helps the internalisation of the teachers in our institution, due to the development of a new, European approach. Furthermore, it facilitates the extension of the European partnerships of our school and supports the up-to-par continuation of the current school exchange programmes. Thanks to the project, our institution's European status becomes more evident. The professional experience acquired during the in-service training courses promotes our students' university studies in another country, the achievement of new methods helps the modernisation of the educational work in our school and reinforces the teaching of the minor foreign languages. The four colleagues taking part in the mobilities teach four different subjects. They are experienced and enthusiastic workers and they have a good relationship with their students. As well as having good organisational skill, they actively participate in the school events. The participant teachers are fully committed to partly our school and to spread the European culture. Moreover, they are determined regarding their professional developments. The one-year project is planned and is completed in four phases. The first part is the election of the potential participants and the application for the grant, the second is the preparation for the mobilities then the completion of the in-service teacher trainings. Finally, the post- mobility phase, which is divided into to parts; the evaluation and the dissemination of the project results. The realisation of the project will have a positive effect on the teachers' language competences and the participants' communication skills in a foreign language. Thus, they will be more active help in the school exchange programmes. The mobilities will encourage the other colleagues for the participation in further in-service teacher trainings and their contribution to the grant applications. Our teachers will integrate the innovative methods in their lessons plus they will be more up-to-date. In addition, the renewed Pedagogical Programme of our institution, which is the main goal of the project, will increase the school's reputation. In the long term the project is expected to strengthen the open-mindedness and tolerance of the school staff for other cultures, help the mutual European thinking among the teachers and the formation of a new approach among the colleagues. To sum up, with the participation in the in-service teacher trainings it will be easier to determine our school's position among the European secondary schools.
