The overall objective of the project is to improve living conditions of local population and an increase of tourism attractiveness by protection and improvement of the coastal water area in the South Baltic (Bay of Gdańsk and Vistula Lagoon/Kaliningrad Gulf). Expected Results: 1. To direct Sopot rainwater streams further into the Bay of Gdańsk - construction of system C comprising a new cumulative land collector and sea discharge collector including accompanying facilities in Sopot. 2. Construction of an underground retention reservoir for rainwater including accompanying systems in the Babidolski stream catchment area in Sopot. 3. Construction of a sewage network in the towns of Pogrodzie, Nowinka, Chojnowo and Wodynia and connecting it to existing Tolkmicko wastewater treatment plant). 4. To prepare a concept for the system of rainwater purification in Mamonovo based on experience and achievements in Sopot municipality.
